The challenge
What we were up against
Taurus One aimed to stand out in the crowded crypto exchange market by offering a visually premium experience that communicated institutional-grade security while remaining accessible to everyday traders. The existing concept lacked visual distinction and trust signals — it looked like dozens of other exchange templates already on the market.
Exchanges live and die by trust: a single moment of 'this looks cheap' or 'this looks like a scam' during onboarding can lose a user permanently, especially in a market that's seen its share of collapsed platforms.

Security-Woven Transaction Flows
Security indicators (confirmation states, verification badges, session info) are woven into every transaction flow rather than isolated in a settings page.
The solution
The work, up close
The full exchange UI includes the trading dashboard with live candlestick charts and order book, spot and futures trading interfaces, a multi-chain wallet with asset breakdown, transaction history, a staking section, and a KYC onboarding flow — all built from a 50+ component design system.
The KYC flow was treated as a design problem in its own right rather than an afterthought: progress indicators, plain-language explanations for each verification step, and reassurance copy at the points where users are most likely to abandon.
Trading screens keep chart, order book, and open positions in a fixed layout so active traders never lose their place while switching between markets.
